About E.A.R.S.
Welcome to E.A.R.S., a local volunteer network based in North Yorkshire.
Our aim is to rescue dogs from urgent put to sleep situations and place them in foster care until they can be rehomed or rescue space is available for them. Older dogs may be taken into long term foster care where they will be supported financially. We will have a network of support available to all foster carers, offering advice, training and any other needs they may require.
We will hopefully be providing garden kennels where suitable for emergency situations. We hope to save at least some of the dogs that are put to sleep every day simply because there is nowhere for them to go.
We also have a very active fundraising team, without whom we will not be able to carry out this vital help. Please contact us if you can help in any way, we have something for everyone.
